NHL 12 Demo

Hello the interweb. It is I, Brandon B coming at you with information on the new NHL 12 Demo. I recently downloaded it on Xbox live. Each year it seems that EA steps up the latter in creating a real playable hockey experience. Now although this is only a demo, it still breath taking. The graphics look stunning and sounds make me feel like I'm out on the ice. I immediately tryed doing last years glitches to see if they have been fixed. From what I've seen, the holes have been plugged. The goalie is now live during play, very movable in front of the net and can be thrown into the net. Overall it seems like this year could be the one to top all and really hole the hockey experience. So go now and download the new NHL 12 Demo to try it out and get a feel for it. We will have a full review when the game is released on the shelf's. NHL 12 releases on September 13th of this year.

News

Hello everyone. Brian and I have had many, many things to do over the last year and have not been able to keep up with posting constantly. The more and more we go on the harder it seems to get. We are not going to give up on what we do and what we want to do. Many things have been disscused between Brian and I and many changes will be coming very soon. One of our main huge changes is our name. We are know longer going to be called Rewound Entertainment. Brian and I came up with, TBB. Which stand for " The Bbutton.Com ". We hope you like it as much as we do. We also went out and bought a recording device that will allow us to create actual game play footage for the use of commentary, help on achievements and much, much more. As I have made false promises in the past for us to step it up and post more I am telling you this time to trust us and keep your faith in us. We will be attempting to post tons of information in the gaming world. We will be having quite the work load but it will all be worth it in the end. There has also been talk of doing T-shirts for a sort of promotion and way to get our name better out into the interweb and world. Brian and I will also be aquirring a real website as soon as possible. Thank you for whom ever has stood by us and is still there with us now. Thank you very much!

Dead Rising 2 - Xbox360 Review

Hello readers of Rewound Entertainment, It is I Brandon B. Its time for another video game review. Today I will be reviewing the sequel to the terrifying zombie game, Dead Rising. Dead Rising 2. Hope you enjoy the review. ( Spoiler Alert )

-One man, three days, millions of zombies, and one giant adult playground. This is just a small taste of what Dead Rising 2 is all about. You play as the main character Chuck Greene, an amazing motocross star who participating on a television show called TIR or " Terror Is Reality " , located in Fortune City out side of Las Vegas. Without giving anymore away there is a giant zombie out brake inside of Fortune City. Chuck, who's daughter has been bitten needs a special drug that will stop her from turning into a blood thirsty zombie. Chuck must collect the drug every 24 hour, along with doing side missions and solving the case of how the out brake plagued Fortune City. The story holds itself together well. Although I will say, at times I found it was very predictable.
The gameplay it self runs very smoothly. For the amount of zombies and everything working at once I didn't find very much lag at all, which surprised me. The frame rate was pretty good considering. When it did lag, I didn't feel that it took away from the hardcore zombie smashing experience. Compaired to the original Dead Rising, I found this one to be a little more straight forward on explanation on what to do next. Fighting physcopaths, saving survivors and mowing down zombies like its know big deal. With the games addition of online co-op it only adds to the fun. Although while playing online your game progress does not carry over, which I found disappointing. I think they should have re-thought that, along with adding an option of allowing two player co-op on the same game system.

Graphically the game could be polished up. I found I was noticing blurry an odd images when getting close up to the characters and objects, more or less in the cut-scenes. Besides that everything else looked great. Fortune City really captured the look of Las Vegas. Bight lights, shopping malls, casinos and great prices if you hit the jack pot. The setting where the story takes place was well thought up coming from Dead Risings mega mall. In an addition to the game, you are now able to make combo weapons. This is where you can comb ind two different weapons to make one really destructive one. There are over 40 combo cards in the game that you can create. So be creative when your killing your zombies.

Is it easy to kill the zombies you ask ? Using your weapons is very simple. Picking them up and storing other items while you run around is easyer then I remember in Dead Rising. Anyone can pick up the controller and go to town on mutilating zombie brains. You control the camera, so there is no possible screen where you'll become stuck and be over come by a zombie attack. Sound is a big key, this game delivers the moans and groans. The zombies sound real, along with no music it really sets the mood and tone for the game. The sound effects for all the weapons, items, slot machines, everything sounds very believable. As I said before it really sets the mood for the game. The voice actors seems to fit their parts well, although some times it sounded like the voice clip didn't fit correctly with the other clip. Overall this game was great to play. It has great re-play value and I suggest you pick up a copy soon. Weather you want to save innocent civilians, do the missions or just mowing down zombies this game brings fun to all who play it. There are some minor things that could have been done much better, but overall the game is awesome and should have a spot on your shelf.

Thanks for reading, be sure to check in soon for new reviews and other news, thanks!
