Bad Music Videos: "One Time" - Justin Bieber

From the creators of bad teen singers such as Aaron Carter and The Jonas Brothers comes the newest of the bunch, Justin Bieber. This is his first official music video for his "song" One Time. Why, oh why, does the music industry keep spitting out these pre-pubescent, gangsta wannabe, gross little pukes? The worst part of this video is the fact that Usher was actually willing to support this kid and be part of it. Does he really see something special in Justin? The music isn't original, his style isn't original, and his look certainly isn't even close to something fresh. And as for this song itself, it's utter garbage. Take one of the songs lyrics for example. "You're by my side, them troubles them not trouble me". Does proper sentence arrangement even apply to this song? Obviously not. My favourite part of this video is at the end when Justin looks up at Usher. I can just picture him thinking, "Well, I've been caught by Usher trashing his house. There goes my career!", which I wish was true for this kid. Hurry up and get your fifteen minutes of fame over with Justin, because let me tell you, we're all pretty much sick of you.

Bad Music Videos: "Don't Believe a Word" - Third Eye Blind

I want to start by saying that I actually don't mind Third Eye Blind's song, "Don't Believe a Word". It's catchy and it has a great beat. But what the hell happened with the music video? Whose bright idea was it to do the entire thing in a stop-motion/frame-by-frame/seizury style? About half-way through the video, you will realize it actually becomes unwatchable. It reminds me a college students experimental film, only with no interesting qualities. One more thing; just because an artist uses a unusual style for their music video doesn't make them instantly cool or amazing or "intelligent". It just gives them 15 minutes of fame so they can cash in on the kids who want what's "current". There, that's my rant to all of you hooligan kids out there who truly believe that musicians adore their fans. Sorry for the cynical attitude, but that's my style (and unfortunately also my mood today). Don't take it personally, Third Eye Blind. Michael Jackson: 1958-2009

So, if you haven't already heard (and if you haven't, you must be living under a rock), Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 after going into cardiac arrest. He led an enormously famous life as the King of Pop, but as we all know, he had his darker moments as well (of which I prefer not to get into). He leaves behind a huge legacy, though, both in his music and his strangely pale face. His death came as a shock to the world, and he will be missed. My only question now is who will get all of his riches? I'm seeing a bright future for his children.

Bad Music Videos: "Gucci Bandana" - Soulja Boy

For god's sake, why can't someone just do away with this guy? Today's Bad Music Video is brought to you by the one and only Soulja Boy. In this video, Soulja Boy's up to his usual antics of dancing around like Woody Woodpecker and singing the same line over and over and over again. I mean, really, it's bad enough that this song is called "Gucci Bandana", but why the hell does he have to say those two words like their going out of fashion? Just a heads up, Soulja, they went out of fashion the second you said them! And also, what the hell is that gibberish mumble jumble crap he says at the beginning of the video? His exact words are, and I quote, "Shawty! Wassup man, wassup man? We throwin', hey, we throwin a big, big, big welcome home Soulja Boy, welcome home Gucci man party man. Ya, at the park, ya, ya. Bring your Gucci bandana man, yeh". As for the video itself, it's such a kafuffle of crappy dance moves and bad rappers, plus a crowd of foolish women raging to meet the Soulja himself. I'm starting to think these videos are created from ideas out of Soulja Boy's fantasies. Anyways, watch the video below, but only before eating your next meal. And that's a HUGE warning!

Bad Music Videos: "Paranoid" - Jonas Brothers

I never thought I would be posting anything about the Jonas Brothers on my site, but their music video for "Paranoid" is just so terrible, I have to. I mean honestly, what the hell is going on in this video? It's just a jumbled mess of different scenes that all add up to "being paranoid". Why do these three have to be so untalented and unimaginative. And if they didn't come up with the idea, then why didn't they stop it from happening. They're just making themselves look more childish than they are (which really, two of them aren't). They simply need to mature. I did like, however, how Nick turns into a girl in the beginning of the video. I always knew he was hiding something! So, go ahead (if you dare) and watch the Jonas Losers...I mean Brothers, sing themselves into a hole with constipated looks on their faces. Hopefully they never get out.

Michael Jackson Comeback

According to music industry informants, Michael Jackson will be making a comeback tour with with a series of concerts in London. Also, according to Billboard, sources have said that he will appear at a press conference to confirm this tour on Thursday at London's O2 arena. Well, this would definately be an interesting comeback tour, but I'm sure if it does happen, tickets will be sold out within seconds. This would be a very smart move for MJ.

Matt and Kim - Daylight

I realize this song came out over a month ago, but I've just recently heard it. Matt and Kim are an indie-rock band whose sound is very unique. That's just what I'm into; unique.
