Popeye is one of the most beloved cartoon characters in the world. His collection of cartoons is currently being released on DVD, so this opens up doors to new fans who never had the chance to grow up with the spinach-eating sailor. Big Chief Ugh Amugh Ugh is one of the better Fleischer Studio Popeye's. Fleischer Studios is usually credited with creating the best of the Popeye cartoons, and for good reason. The quality was so amazing for what the animators had to work with. These classic Popeye's were well ahead of their time. As with the previous Betty Boop post I made, some might view this Popeye short as racist. It does have some inpolitically-correct tones, but still, this is Popeye at it's finest (don't take that the wrong way.) Anyways, sit back and enjoy Popeye - Big Chief Ugh Amugh Ugh.
