Xbox360 Lego Batman review , here it is. This is Brandon a.k.a. Vintagebro Im giving you the scoop on lego batman, the goods the greats and the OMG THIS IS, WHY, WHY WOULD YOU DO T HIS TO ME! Haha just kidding.
Story - Well what can I say besides, the villan's have escaped and batman along side his trusty idiot Robin and friends must get the villan's back to Arkam Asylam. Its quite genius really, all the villans in almost the history of batman are shoved into this game, I love it. Another thing is that not only do you get to play as batman but you get to play as the villan's and crush Gotham in the cluches of your controller.
Im going to say this story is solid a nice 10/10.
Gameplay - The play of this game is perfect. The detail to lego peices in each little place is great. Although there is some area's there are not completely lego all in all its perfect either way. I dont no how eles to explain it, its great no matter what way you look at it. Although at times you may think well this should be lego, and that should be to , but its fine the way it is all coming together making this game lego, the best lego game to come out yet. Although a negitive Im going to have to say is the puzzel's are quite pain staking in my opinion some are acually long and levels are long to, but meh nothing to bad. Plus with a selection of tons and tons of characters in batman, you get to play with most every single one, so its going to get a 9/10 .
Graphics - What can I say, Its a lego game, pretty much the same as all the others. I mean there's the touch ups the better shines, the dimmer lights, added effects ect.. I could go on for ever but its like all the other lego games, so Im going to have to give it a 7/10
Controls - The controls are simple and strait to it. You could almost say its a button masher. Its a cross between crazy and masher. I could say that to an extent the button mashing can get old and reused, switching suit to suit it gets re-used and boresum at times. Although new tools add in which is great, its a great way to show new ways to use batman tools in a lego game. I mean although at times it seems odd at times. Batman punch = Lightsabre = Indy Punch. Batman Boomarange = The Force = Whip. Its almost a pattern, although this comes into play its still easy to use and easy to pick up and start playing. A 8/10 gets thrown in.
Sound - The music composed is by Danny Elfman himself, the creater of the original batman music. It sets the ton, and really gets you into the mood of the batman spirit. To the point its a 9/10
Value - The value of batman lego is what you may be looking for. Lego Batman shows a great deal of lego and batman rolled into one, I mean it has the elements of batman and great deals of villans in batman. While the lego part is still there, building, constructing and creating lego items. So the value is 8/10.
Overall - Lego Batman, if your looking to play a game that consists of batman and all its wounders then play this game for all means. If you like lego and create fun destructive and constuctive means of destorying lego bricks then get this game. If you like both well buy this game. If you dont like structure, puzzels, and a good old beat um up then dont get this game. Im going to say this game gets a solid 9/10.
