So, the statistics are in. Wii Sports Resort has sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. in just eight days. Better stats have come out of Europe, where over 600,000 copies have sold, and in Japan, over 800,000 copies have flown off the shelves. What's making this game skyrocket up the sales charts, though? My first guess would have to be the inclusion of the Wii MotionPlus accessory. Everyone wants 1:1 precision control, and this is the easiest way to get it. Nintendo has done it again folks. You're looking at another top-seller of the year.
