Sony's EyePet, revealed at last years GamesCon, has been given a release date of November 17th of this year. The EyePet is definitely one of the more original things I've seen this year, but it is still unknown as to how much fun it can actually be. Is this the kind of product that will keep people entertained for a year, or a week? The trailer below seems to make it look like a blast, but again, that's the power of editing at work. I have to admit though, until it has actually been proven stupid or boring, I'm looking forward to it as I think many other gamers, most likely casual ones, are. EyePet will be $40 on its own, or $60 with the Playstation Eye.
